- Direct Connection: Connect the controller directly to the PC using a network cable. The default IP address is 192.168.1.166. Set the PC IP to 192.168.1.XX (not 166). Use the "Ping 192.168.1.166" command to verify connection.
- Network Connection: Connect both devices to a HUB/switch on the same LAN (192.168.1.XX subnet). Wireless connections are also possible through a router.
- Double-click the VibExpert desktop icon
- Select Tools → Import Calibration File
- Click "Import calibration file" and confirm
- Open the software and select the desired test module (Sine, Random, etc.)
- Configure parameters: engineering units, input channels, shaker parameters, reference spectrum
- Save parameters as defaults for future tests
- Verify settings and click "Start test"
- Power off the controller if running
- Restart and wait for the Ready light
- Press and hold the Abort button for >4 seconds until control light blinks
- This resets IP to default: 192.168.1.166
- Restart controller to apply changes
