圧縮空気のパルスが、収集トラフの底にあるマニホールドを通して吹き込まれ、粉塵を上方に押し上げて製品全体に吹き付けます。エアパルスは「オン」および「オフ」サイクル用に時間プログラムされています。粉塵の濃度は、空気圧と吹き込み時間を変更することで簡単に変えることができます。すべての粉塵チャンバーは、SAE J575、サブパラグラフ「G」、J.I.S. D-0207-1977、およびASTM C-150-77などの一般的な試験方法に適合するように設計されています。承認された粉塵の種類は、アリゾナダスト、ポルトランドセメントダスト、および213シリカサンドです。
